1. Acceptance of these Terms

Welcome to Build Compose ("Build Compose", "we", "us", or "our").

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Build Compose website, tools, message builders, webhook functionality, and related services (collectively, the "Service").

By accessing or using Build Compose, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not use the Service.

If you use Build Compose on behalf of another person, organization, server, or entity, you represent that you have the authority to do so and that you are authorized to accept these Terms on their behalf.

2. Description of the Service

Build Compose provides online tools that allow users to create and format content intended for use with Discord and other compatible services.

Our Service may include:

  • Discord Embed creation tools.
  • Discord Components V2 creation tools.
  • Message previews.
  • JSON generation and export.
  • Discord-related text and formatting tools.
  • Webhook-based message sending.
  • Templates and other utilities that may be added in the future.

Features may be added, modified, suspended, or removed at any time.

3. Eligibility

You may use Build Compose only if you are legally permitted to enter into these Terms under the laws applicable to you.

Build Compose is not intended to be a service directed specifically at children.

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service complies with the age requirements and other applicable requirements of your jurisdiction and any third-party services you use with Build Compose.

4. Your Responsibility

You are responsible for your use of Build Compose and for all content that you create, generate, transmit, or send through the Service.

You agree that you will:

  • Use the Service only for lawful purposes.
  • Comply with applicable laws and regulations.

  • Respect the rights of other individuals and organizations.
  • Use only Discord webhooks that you are authorized to use.
  • Ensure that you have the necessary rights or permissions for content you submit or transmit.
  • Protect any webhook URLs or other credentials under your control.

You are solely responsible for determining whether you have permission to use a particular webhook, Discord server, channel, or other third-party resource.

5. Webhook Functionality

Build Compose may allow you to provide a Discord webhook URL and request that Build Compose send a message to that webhook.

When you use this functionality:

  1. You represent that you are authorized to use the webhook.
  2. You are responsible for the content of the message being sent.
  3. Build Compose acts as a technical intermediary for transmitting your request to Discord.
  4. Build Compose does not own or control the Discord server, channel, webhook, or destination associated with the webhook.
  5. You are responsible for complying with Discord's applicable rules and policies.

You should treat Discord webhook URLs as sensitive credentials. Anyone who obtains a webhook URL may potentially be able to use it to send messages through that webhook.

Do not submit webhook URLs that you are not authorized to use.

Build Compose may impose technical limits, rate limits, validation requirements, or other restrictions on webhook requests to protect the Service, Discord infrastructure, and users.
